Reunited San Francisco Bay Area thrashers Defiance, featuring Steev Esquivel of Skinlab fame as frontman, have announced the addition of a new drummer.\"Adding this final piece to the puzzle allows us to move forward with the EP which we have been working towards for the last six months. We hope to be able to solidify the arrangements over the next couple of months and head into the recording studio in the October/November timeframe...\"
Definance is planning on recording the EP at Trident Studios in Pacheco, California.
Currently the band is looking for interested labels. Defiance released three albums through the Roadrunner label. Their debut \"Product of Society\" was issued in 1989, followed by \"Void Terra Firma\" one year later.
1992 was the release of \"Beyond Recognition\", before undergoing major changes in the line-up and their eventually split up.
