Ludwig drums always have the most eye-catching drums on display at NAMM. Better known as the 'Birthday Cake' Kit, we made a video of it with all the info of this year's kit. More Ludwig new were the Legacy Mahogany drums, the Copper-Phonic seamless snare drum and several new finishes for the Classic Maple series. This year's first as well was the Bonzo Bash 2015 NAMM JAMM kit. Brian Tichy moved from Natal to Ludwig, a matching change since the Bonzo Bash event is to celebrate the legacy of the great Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, who played Ludwig.
Ludwig Legacy Mahogany drums Bringing back the classic Mahogany/Poplar/Mahogany 3-ply shell construction from Ludwig's Golden Era in the 1950's. It has vintage style Bass Drum Spurs, Claws and Badges and comes in seven different finishes and five configuratons. Legacy Mahogany is a decidedly modern version of the vintage shell formula.

Ludwig Copper-Phonic seamless snare drum Ludwig took the 100 years of experience in building copper timpani to create the beautiful Copper-Phonic Snare that is made in the Monroe, NC USA Plant. It features a dark raw copper 1.2mm shell, 10 Imperial Lugs & 2.3mm Triple Flange Hoops. It is built to the same standards as the Black Beauty and Supra-Phonic Snares and are available in 2 models. LC661 - 5x14" & LC663 - 6.5x14".
New finishes for Classic Maple The well known and popular Ludwig 7-ply Cross-Laminated North American Maple drums. With a new lacquer process it is now also available in: Satin Natural Maple, Cherry, Charcoal and Mahogany. The pricing the same as a wrapped drum set. Classic Maple is available in many sizes, wrap or lacquer finishes and hardware options.
