Ed 'Pocket' Graham, original drummer and co-founder of The Darkness, has left the band. It's his second departure, as Ed previously quit in 2008 due to health problems.
The drummer returned in 2009 and took part in the original lineup reunion in 2011, alongside vocalist Justin Hawkins, guitarist Dan Hawkins and bassist Frankie Poullain.
But now the band report they're working on the as-yet-untitled fourth The Darkness album without their long-time drummer:
"Sadly, we're no longer working with Ed. For various reasons, we have all decided to move on. We love Ed and we wish him happiness. We'll introduce you to our new drummer very soon."
