Carrera\'s offerings include the small-size Terrier snare, which now has an accompanying small footprint kit. The 8 lug Terrier snare features a 13\"x3 3/4\"x6mm shell, triple flanged hoops, comes with Evans USA skins and is available in a wide range of finishes.
It\'s partnered by the 10 lug Carrera Sound snare, which features a 14\"x6\"x9mm shell, S hoops - top and bottom and Evans skins. Both come with custom Baskey snare wires.
Like all the Carrera models, they feature Finnish birch shells, a hand finished interior, vertical grain throughout, hand lacquering and hand assembly.
The Terrier kit offers 8\"x5\" and 10\"x6\" mounted tom toms, a 12\"x10\" floor tom and an 18\"x14\" kick drum. The Sound kit, meanwhile, features 10\"x6\" and 12\"x8\" mounted toms, a 14\"x10\" floor tom and a 20\"x16\" kick drum.

In related news: earlier this year Carrera Drums launched the Hardcore range to deliver a slightly dryer and more controlled sound reminiscent of well-known \"recording\" series drums of the past, but still punch through in un-miced gig situations.
