Gremlin Music has announced the UK launch of Spanish-made cajons by Katho Percussion. The introduction follows the increasing market demand for acoustic Latin percussion instruments, the company says.

Katho cajons are available in a variety of woods, including Rosewood, Pine, Calabo and Birchwood.
According to Gremlin all drums are nicely finished, lightweight but robust, with well rounded corners which are easy on the hands.
There are six models in the Kathos range, with SRPs between £139 and £229.
