TXDC51W The TXDC51W is made of American hickory. It is 16 ¾” long and .680” (17.3mm) in diameter with a modified barrel-shaped wood tip. The unique tip produces a unique articulation throughout a wide volume range. The DC51 is slightly smaller overall than its ‘big brother’, the TXDC50W, and incorporates a “Comfort Flare” into the shaft design. The “Comfort Flare” provides maximum control but with a smaller stick.
TXDC52W The TXDC52W is also made of American hickory. It is 16 ½” long and .630” (16mm) in diameter with a ball-shaped wood tip. The DC52 was designed specifically for smaller hands, to have the perfect balance between manageability, maximum volume and articulation.
Together TXDC50W, TXDC51W and TXDC52W are a range of drumsticks designed for any marching application. The TXD 50\'s System Blue Snare Drum Sticks are a collaboration between Pro-Mark Corporation and The Concord Blue Devils. It is a combination of people, training, equipment, design and performance, all working in synergy. The Blue Devils have long been considered the ‘God Standard” of the drum corps activity.
