With the help of Cesar Zuiderwijk, Schiffmacher took up the challenge and started working on this special project. Schiffmacher built the custom drums with the exact technical specifications Chad Smith has. The drums were painted with unique designs of the tattoo artist, referring to Smith\'s life. The drums are for everyone to see in The Hague, in music store Rock Palace. On an evening, that is being kept secret, there will be an official handing-over of the drums to the famous Peppers drummer.

The \'Tattoo Art Custom Drum Kit\' will be part of the upcoming world tour of the Peppers. After the tour the drums will be auctioned, and revenues will go to the charity fund \'Orange Babies\', an organization that is focused on helping African women with HIV.

Henk Schiffmacher is a long time friend of the Peppers family. Throughout the years he has \'painted\' many tattoos on the bodies of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante. and of course Chad himself.
