In a way Gibraltar’s SC-HHOT is a variation of Sabian\'s Triple Hi-Hat, a three-cymbal hi-hat stand designed by German inventor/drummer Peter Küppers. Here the top cymbal pulls down while the bottom simultaneously pushes up to make double contact with the stationary middle cymbal.
