The TRX Cymbal company introduces Thunder and Lightning: two new, vented cymbals featuring a specially designed hole pattern. Both versions of the effects cymbals are offered in 16, 18 and 20 inch sizes.
The Thunder crash is based on TRX's warm, dark DRK Series, the Lightning crash is based on the company's powerful, bright BRT Series.
Both types of cymbals are said to have a unique, somewhat trashy sound when used alone or stacked.
TRX is recommending them for everything from traditional jazz and R&B to rock and metal.
