Stian Kristoffersen got his first drum kit at the age of five as a christmas present. He began taking drum lessons when he was eight years old and started teaching at the age of fourteen. Stian formed his first metal band, Essex, in 1983. He joined Sunset Strip in 1993, which became Silverspoon and finally Pagan\'s Mind in 2000.
