Steven Adler, Guns n\' Roses drummer from 1985 to 1990, has finally released his memoirs. His life was quite a mess for a very long time. All the juicy, and often disgusting, details are chronicled in his new book, aptly called \'My My Appetite for Destruction: Sex & Drugs & Guns n\' Roses\'.

It describes a daunting list of abuse starting when Steven skipped school and began doing drugs only 11 years old, eventually resulting in 28 overdoses, three suicide attempts, two heart attacks and a stroke.
According to the drummer, his book isn’t just an attempt to cash in on juicy rock \'n roll stories. He claims its primary goal was therapeutic. After being booted from the band, he spiraled down into depression and more drug use.
Steven Adler recently finished a stint in reality television on VH1\'s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, and Sober House.
His current sobriety has helped him repair some of his relationships with his ex-Guns n\' Roses band mates. Slash has been supportive of Steven’s recovery and invited the drummer to play on a track on his recent solo album.
After so much life wasted, Steven Adler now wants to work. He’s started a 50-city tour with his band Adler’s Appetite, playing \'Appetite for Destruction\' in its entirety along with other G n’ R hits.
Steven also hopes to release a new studio album next year.
