Dutch drummer, composer, author, educator and clinician Jeroen Simons, formerly of Epica among other bands, a has announced a new project called Metalektro. Says Jeroen about his new labor:\"We tried to create within an artistic concept. Our influences include electronic music from the 80s/90s, metal/fusion, and heavy classical music.\"
Metalektro consists of Jeroen Simons on drums and percussion, and Frans Blanker on electronic tenor sax. He also takes care of compositions, programming, art direction and soundtracks.
