\"Death Angel\'s long time drummer and original member Andrew Galeon has decided that it is time for him to move on from the band. While we are sad to see him go, we wish him nothing but success. Not only has he been an integral part of Death Angel from day one, but he\'s also family and a friend and we will miss him.\"
Will Carroll, previously of Scarecrow, Old Grandad and Vicious Rumors to name just a few projects, will be handling the drum duties for Death Angel\'s upcoming shows including the Summer Madness Tour in Europe.
Death Angel\'s first demo ‘Kill As One’, produced by Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammet, saw the light of day in 1986. Andy Galeon was just 14 years old at the time.
In 1990, when the band toured Arizona in support of the album \'Act III\', the band suffered a serious tour bus crash in which Andy was critically injured. During his year long recovery, singer Mark Osegueda left the band, effectively ending Death Angel.
In 2001, the band reunited for a benefit concert and went on to release \'The Art of Dying\' in 2004 and \'Killing Season\' in 2008.
