In 2007 drummer Rob Rampy of DRI repute teamed up with Chris Barrows (Pink Lincolns) on vocals, Sam Williams (Down By Law) on guitar, and Gary Strickland (Hated Youth) on bass, forming The Spears. Now they are planning to release their full-length debut album later this year (probably June or July) via Jailhouse! Records.
