Dutch punk drummer Erik Jansen, playing for many bands including Gepopel, Saudade, Miss Fit, Exide, Supertroopers, Funeral Oration and Yawp, has passed away. He died in the early morning of April 17, 2008 due to a tragic accident.

Last weekend Erik got into a coma after he had fallen down the stairs at home. Sadly he never recovered. Erik was 41 years old.
