Former Necrosis drummer Alex Urena has joined French \"hybrid death metal\" band Hypnosis. A press release by the group states: \"After such a long time playing with a drum machine, it seems that the band has finally found the right person to do the job!\"
Hypnosis are currently working on material for their new album. Recordings are planned in April 2008.
Entitled \'The Synthetic Light of Hope\', the upcoming cd will be released next summer through the Spanish label Mondongo Canibale Records.
