Although Michael\'s departure comes on a difficult moment for the band, the split is amicable according to a statement by We Are Scientists.
The band kick off their series of university shows with a gig at Edinburgh University Student Union on November 7. At some dates the band will support themselves, offering self-improvement seminars to fans.
