Jon Rice has been playing drums for about seven years. After completing a year at Capital\'s Conservatory of Music, majoring in Music Business with a focus on Percussion, Jon left to pursue a career in music. Comments the drummer:

\"For me it\'s a dream come true. It\'s one of those things where you take a chance and send a demo over and then your life is changed. I\'m really looking forward to living on the road. I\'ve lived in Pittsburgh forever and starting in a few weeks I will be living the dream and seeing the world.\"

States Job For A Cowboy guitarist Ravi Bhadriraju on behalf of the band:

\"Jon\'s badass. His demo was awesome and we felt that after meeting and talking to other drummers that his personality fit best with ours. In addition to an awesome drummer, we needed someone who wants what we want and that is to tour as much as possible and he is down with that. We have no plans to stop and I\'m glad we get to do that with the comfort of knowing we brought the right dude with us and that he feels the same.\"

Job For A Cowboy recently completed work on its Metal Blade Records debut, due in the spring/summer of 2007.
