Rush drummer Neil Peart will be starring in Adult Swim\'s feature version of surreal animated series \"Aqua Teen Hunger Force\", though not with his drumming: Peart has lent his voice to the movie based on the comedy about three anthropomorphic fast food items and their life together in New Jersey.

Other guests in the feature-length movie are Jon Benjamin from Home Movies and Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, filmmaker Jon Glaser, SNLs\' Fred Armisen and Bruce Campbell.
Progressive metal band Mastodon, featuring Bränn Dailor behind the drums, have stated in a recent decibel article that they are performing the opening music, and that the band would be animated as a bucket of popcorn, a soda, a hot dog, and a candy bar.
The 86-minute pic is written, produced and directed by co-creators Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis. It has been set for a March release by First Look Pictures, marking First Look\'s initial theatrical foray into animation as well as Adult Swim\'s first feature under the Williams Street banner.
In related news: Rush is nearly finished recording its next studio album, which is expected later this year via Atlantic. The tracks were put to tape at Allaire Studios in upstate New York with co-producer Nick Raskulinecz. Peart recently wrote on his web site:
\"I have never enjoyed the recording process so much, nor been so satisfied with the results.\"
