Nevermore drummer Van Williams will sit behind the kit for Soulbender for three shows in January 2007, filling in for regular sticksman Wes Hallam. Van Williams will play with the group on the following dates:Soulbender was founded by Wes Hallam (former drummer of Assault and Fallen Angel), Queensrÿche guitarist Michael Wilton, ex-My Sister\'s Machine singer Nick Pollock, ex-Tin Pan/Fallen Angel guitarist Dave Groves, and bassist Chuck Miller (Peace And Silence, Dr. Unknown).
Soulbender\'s self-titled debut album was released independently in 2004. You can listen to a new rough-mix demo track, entitled Chisel and Hammer, on the band\'s MySpace page.
