\"There is more concentrated guitar power on this cd than any I have done. More screaming solos, more thunderous riffs, more wall-shaking chords, more imagination, more passion, more, more, more!\"
In related news: drummer Jeff Bowders will be touring southern Europe with Damir Simic this fall. Bowders recorded Simic\'s new album as well. He also finished the demo of his own band, Nine Times Bodyweight (formerly known as Ether). Check out Jeff Bowders\' new songs here.
Nine Times Bodyweight, also spelled as (9xb), tracked six songs at EMI studios this summer. The songs were mixed at the historic A&M Studios, which the band will be quick to remind you is the birthplace of Soundgarden\'s \"Superunknown\". The music is warm, melodic, expansive, powerful and progressive. The band refuses to be part of a retro movement or current trend. A wise man once said, if you glorify the past the future dries up.
Nine Times Bodyweight are set to launch a full length album in 2007, followed by an extensive tour of the United States, Europe, Japan and Australia.
