In August 2006, it will be exactly two years since Drummerszone.com endorser Dennis Leeflang exchanged The Netherlands for New York. A young drummer searching for new challenges. Roger Teeling interviewed Dennis for Dutch drum magazine Slagwerkkrant about the past two years in New York.
\"The difference between states can already be huge. So what\'s typical American...? Americans seem to give 200%. They are willing to live with roommates, even share a one-bedroom apartment, if that\'s what it takes to be able to play music. That\'s inspiring.\"
This drummer has not only drum guts, but also sees posibilities where others may have difficulty finding them. Currently his main gig is guitarist Bumblefoot (now touring with Guns n\' Roses). Next to that he recorded with Alexa Vetere, 2 ½ Lounge, Sun Caged and famous Gothic Rock band Within Temptation.
