The group, who describe their sound as \"a continuation of the heavy style of \'90s Pantera\", are preparing to record a new CD, probably with Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head, Soulfly) as producer.
Orphaned To Hatred\'s current line-up includes Menza behind the drum kit, Brandon McBride on vocals and Paul Jamison on bass. A recently recorded demo track, entitled Depths of Recovery, featuring Menza, has been posted online here.
Nick Menza was born as the son of famed jazz saxophone player Don Menza. Little Nick began playing drums at the age of two. It was then Nick performed at his first public concert when during the intermission someone sat him down on Jack DeJohnette\'s drums and he proceeded to play. He learned from such notables as Buddy Rich, Steve Gadd, Nick Ceroli, Jeff Porcaro and Louis Bellson.
Menza started with Megadeth as drumtech for Chuck Behler. After spending over ten years with Megadeth, Menza released his first solo album, \"Life After Deth,\" in 2001.
