According to Leger the style is a remarkable blend of his biggest influences: doom, old Voivod and Italian horror soundtracks (Goblin/Fabio Frizzi).
Tad Leger has already started out recording both guitar and drums himself. He was joined by his old Blackened Sky bandmate Andy Abbene and his brother Jay (Wrathchild America / Sold At Zero) several weeks ago.
Toxik was a New York based thrash metal band who released two albums for Roadrunner Records - \"World Circus\" (1988) and \"Think This\" (1989). After Toxik disbanded, Tad Leger joined Blackened Sky.
As of late 2000 Leger was the only Toxik member actively playing, in a band called Sons Of Celluloid.
Previously he had played in Prime Evil, an American death/thrash metal band that got formed in 1986 and got pretty famous in the underground scene of that time. Prive Evil also featured Mary Ciullo of Incantation repute.
