The Rhode Island-based death metal band is also featuring other ex-Vital Remains members: vocalist Jeff Gruslin and guitarist Paul Flynn.

Godless Rising will release their first EP, \"Rising Hatred\", in January 2006 on Not Common Records. They record contains six tracks. Says Corbit:

\"With three original members of Vital Remains, we got nothing to prove. We\'re not trying to be better than any one, we just want to be fucking metal plain and simple. We are Godless Rising period.\"

The band\'s stage debut will be on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at KCS Tap/Cat Club in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Godless Rising\'s current line-up is completed by guitarist Rob D. (ex-Descent) and bassist Mike Lecam (ex-Ritual Sacrifice guitarist).
