Drummer David Hyde and the rest of the band are hard at work recording their second album with producer Ben Hillier (known from his work with Blur and Depeche Mode among others).
The Sunderland based band use the location as much as possible: David Hyde recorded his drum tracks in a barn and the guitars will be recorded in a glass greenhouse.
The Futureheads released the EP \"Area\" late November as an hors d\'oeuvre.
