Former Korn guitarist Brian \"Head\" Welch has teamed up with session drummer Josh Freese (photo) for his solo album.\"I\'m in the recording studio in Phoenix. [Freese] recorded 23 songs for me while he was here. He\'s by far the best drummer I\'ve ever witnessed in a recording studio. The guy can play anything.\"
While Josh Freese was recording, Brian Welch was still writing about a song a day. So now Freese has to come back and record another 10 or 20.
Head\'s solo album should be released early 2006.
