Ginger Baker's verified Facebook fan page, which also serves as a reliable news source concerning al things Baker, confirmed the news. Ginger's management stated:

"To all fans; it is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of all shows. Ginger's doctors have insisted that he have complete rest due to diagnosis of serious heart problems."

Ginger Baker continued to perform as recently as January, including a January 26th concert at London’s Borderline venue.

Ginger Baker's Air Force was schduled to play four UK dates in April before embarking on a brief US tour in May.
