Korn drummer Ray Luzier just announced he's the newest member of the Vic Firth family, endorsing the biggest sticks brand in the industry. For years he has been playing Promark. The reason for the switch is as of yet unknown. Ray has performed and recorded with countless artists over the years, including: David Lee Roth ('97-'05), Army Of Anyone ('05-'07), Jake E. Lee ('93-'95), Stone Temple Pilots, KXM (George Lynch & Dug Pinnick '13- present), Billy Sheehan and many more.
Today, Ray is most easily recognized for his work with the multi Grammy-winning, multi platinum band KoRn. Ray is an 8 year member of the band, currently celebrating their 20th year anniversary. KoRn will spend much of 2015 on a worldwide tour, performing their entire first record as well as their top hits. Ray also currently teaches at music schools in Japan & Europe as well as performs at drum festivals & drum clinics several times a year. He also has an instructional DVD and book out through Hal Leonard!
