Ben Thompson has toured the World as a professional session drummer for over five years. He has played at some of the worlds most iconic venues, and performed at major festivals worldwide including Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury, V, T in the Park, Bestival, R1 Big Weekend, Coachella (USA), and Summersonic (Japan).

Ben has also played a number of the biggest tv and radio Shows in the world including Jools Holland, Radio 1 Live Lounge, Jonathan Ross, The Late Late Show (Ireland), Letterman (USA), Jimmy Kimmel (USA), Jimmy Fallon (USA), Jay Leno (USA).

His masterclass will demonstrate the essential techniques and skills a session musician must have in the industry today. Having built up such extensive career at just 22, Ben is in a perfect position to talk to students preparing to enter the Music Industry as professional musicians. About his visit, Ben comments:
