Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and uncannily similar-looking actor Will Ferrel have set an official place and date for their drum-off to settle "who's the better drummer once and for all".
The drummer face off between Chad Smith and Will Ferrell will be their first time together in public.
Following months of trash talk, the duo will go cowbell to drumstick on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22.
The winner will take home a golden cowbell.
The pending bout has raised more than $300,000 in donations for the charity Cancer for College and Little Kids Rock.
Though Will's fever for 'More Cowbell' is famous from the classic Saturday Night Live sketch, and a scene in the 2008 film Step Brothers, his chops might be a bit rusty compared to Chad.
But the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer isn't completey sure about his victory:
"I believe there will be some cowbell involved. And that's what worries me. He might try to win everybody over with his whole cowbell thing. I might have to wrestle and tackle him."
