Spanish drummer, composer and producer Juan Tarodo, who drummed with popular 1980s band Olé Olé, has died. He passed away after a long battle with leukemia on May 8, 2013 in his hometown Madrid. He was 52.
Juan, who shifted his focus to producing after his band broke up in 1993, had been forced to step away from the music scene because of his illness.
Olé Olé was popular for hits such as No controles, Voy a mil and Conspiracion.
As a producer, Juan Tarodo worked with Pedro Marin, Jose Luciano, Anibal Berraute, Jose Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", and Juan Gabriel among others.
