Chad, who is already a member of DrumChannel's faculty, launched his app in 2012 for fans and drummers worldwide so they can keep up with all of the drummer's activities.

The app was designed to showcase Chad's work and influences while fans get the latest news, see upcoming tour dates and discover other drummers with the 'Drummer GPS'.

Fans can also listen to tracks spanning all of Chad's projects, look at photos and watch videos on YouTube.

The Chad Smith Drum App is available for free in the Android store and on iTunes.

Don Lombardi, founder of DrumChannel.com, states:
