"When Richie Teeter joined the Dictators he was a few years older and already married, which instantly made him more mature than the group of nihilistic, knuckleheads that recorded 'The Dictators Go Girl Crazy'. Suddenly we had a responsible guy who could keep a beat, sing like a bird and provide a solid foundation that never wavered."
After the Dictators, Ritchie went on to a short stint in Twisted Sister from December 1980 until April 1981. He replaced Tony Petri, before he was followed up by "Fast" Joey Brighton (real name: Joe Markowski).
Since then, Richie had kept a low profile. although he occasionally took part in reunion shows. Richie's last performance with the Dictators likely was in 1991.
