The police arrest log reports that the 39-year-old drummer, who played with Korn from 1993 to 2006, was pulled over and taken into police custody on Sunday at 10:45 AM.

According to celebrity gossip website TMZ, David suffers from insomnia and took a sleeping pill Saturday night to help him rest.

When he woke up Sunday morning, David says he didn't realize he was still too tired to drive. When he accidentally rear-ended another car on the way to breakfast, cops arrived to the scene and put David through a standard DUI test.

David blew a 0.0 on the breathalyzer, but when David told the cops about the sleeping pill they made the decision to arrest him for DUI.

After a 5-year hiatus from the music industry, David recently announced to have teamed up with Anyone members Riz Story and Miki Black in a new band called Infinika. Infinika released the following statement after David Silveria's arrest:

"The recent incident will not interfere with the release of the Infinika debut single on April 2nd, 2012, nor will it interfere with the band's plan to tour this summer."

The new project will supposedly release their debut album 'Echoes And Traces' later this year. For now you can watch Infinika's promo video:
