Solstice will perform at this year's The Goregrowler's Ball on November 18-20, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas and is looking to book a tour.
The band is also working on material for the follow-up to 2009's 'To Dust'.
Solstice was formed in 1990 by guitarist Dennis Munoz and drummer Alex Marquez with vocalist/guitarist Rob Barrett (Cannibal Corpse, ex-Malevolent Creation, Hateplow) and bassist Dave Smith.
In 1992, their debut album, 'The Sentencing', was recorded but due to internal problems the band broke up the following year.
Barrett and Marquez continued with Malevolent Creation. In 1994 Munoz and Marquez played with a hardcore band called Anger.
In 1995 Solstice was reformed with a new lineup.
A second album titled 'Pray' was released but they soon disbanded once again.
