Dutch metalcore outfit 37 Stabwoundz have decided to bring their career to an end. Though music- / band-wise things are running fine, personal priorities have become more important to some of the group members:

\"We can no longer put ourselves up a 100% for the cause of the band and since 37 Stabwoundz only takes on things with both hands and wishes to do so exclusively with the current band members, we decided to quit, being able to look back at 6 years of nothing but a great time!\"
The group\'s final show will be on August 25 at the Akkerpop Festival in Meer-Hoogstraten, Belgium.
Nevertheless, all band members will however stay involved in music and the ‘scene’. Sticksman Roy will continue to operate full time in the music business, predominantly as (freelance) performer, always on the look-out for new projects. In addition, he will maintain his activities as a teacher at the Maastricht Drumschool and as producer / songwriter in his recording studio.
