A Metallica fan has paid $35,000 (about £21,800) for an hour-long drumming lesson with Metallica\'s sticksman Lars Ulrich.

The one-on-one class with Lars was auctioned off as part of a charity fundraising scheme by tennis player Andre Agassi and his Foundation for Education.
Lars Ulrich will give a private lesson to the winning bidder, as well as treating them to the full rock star treatment for the day, taking them to Metallica HQ for a nose around their studio and lunch.
The 46-year-old drummer’s gift was auctioned off during the Grand Slam for Children benefit gala at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas – which eventually collected over $8.5 million with the help of global stars.
