Neurosis, featuring Jason Roeder behind the drums, will perform an exclusive European show at the festival on Saturday, April 21. The Oakland, California based group has been makign music for over 20 years. Neurosis still are a source of inspiration in the post-rock and stoner scene with their impressive mixture of psychedelic (hard) rock, industrial and groove metal.

Seminal riff-rock evangelists The Melvins will headline the Friday Roadburn date, April 20, 2007. The Melvins released \"A Senile Animal\" earlier this year. The album saw longtime Melvins drummer Dale Crover team up with Big Business skinsman Coady Willis. And boy, do they put the extra pair of sticks to good use! Just listen to the drum march breakdown of the album opening The Talking Horse, the percussive onslaught of You\'ve Never Been Right, and the culminating Civilized Worm.

The legendary Blue Cheer, featuring returned sticksman Paul Whaley on the drum throne, are also doing a one-off show.

Big Business, Orange Sunshine, Guru Guru, Sundial, [Men Of] Porn, Pharaoh Overlord, Causa Sui, Josiah, Siena Root, Earthling Society, On Trial, Volt and Rotor will also play on Friday, April 20, 2007.

Also scheduled to appear on the Saturday Roadburn date are Om, The Hidden Hand, Red Sparowes, Pelican, Circle, Growing, Orthodox, Colour Haze, Acid King, Thrones, Amen Ra, Stinking Lizaveta and Black Cobra.

Originally a spin-off of the Roadburn web site, the Roadburn Festival has emerged as an event in its own right. It brings together bands, fans and media from around the world. Despite its international acclaim, Roadburn retains an underground vibe and ethics, but with seriously big-league production values.
