"Still Stuck In Your Throat" is the first studio recording from Fishbone in 6 years since 2000's Fishbone and the Familyhood Nextperience Present: The Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx. It is also the first album to feature new band members Rocky George (guitar), Dre Gipson (keyboards & vocals) and Curtis Storey (trumpet, vocals) who joined Fishbone after the departure of original member Dirty Walter Kibby III (trumpet & vocals) and Spacey.T (guitar) who left the band in November 2003.
"Still Stuck In Your Throat" was recorded in late 2005 - early 2006 with the support of David Kahne who produced all of Fishbone's recordings during the 1980's. Featuring 5 songs that were written during the unreleased Hen House sessions of 2001 (some songs of which appear on the live recording Live at the Temple Bar and More), the new album also contains 6 completely new tracks that showcase the musical diversity and genre mixing that Fishbone gained their reputation for. This album's eclectic musical cocktail bridges Fishbone's past and present.
