Fates Warning went on tour in Europe with prominent support at the beginning of 2005 and performed a cross-section of songs from their ten studio albums released to date. Joining them on tour to augment the line-up was Spock‘s Beard drummer Nick D’Virgilio.
“Live in Athens” documents a complete gig from February 20th at the Gagarin venue in Athens. The bonus material features behind the scenes footage from rehearsals and soundchecks, plus two clips from Bulgarian television and the tracks “Another Perfect Day” and “The Eleventh Hour”, recorded at the Headway festival in the Netherlands with special guest Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) on drums.
