Space Ship One is the seventh studio album by Paul Gilbert, best known as the guitarist of the hard rock band Mr. Big and formerly of Racer X. It was released in 2005.

Paul Gilbert is known as member of Racer X and Mr. Big. However, determined not to be pigeon-holed as just a guitar shredder, Gilbert has always tried to exercise his deep appreciation for the more song oriented side of rock music in his solo work.

"Space Ship One" is his latest offering and this album contains some of the best material Paul has recorded to date. Very strong song structures, catchy melodies and blistering guitars.

These compositions are skilfully supported by drummer Marco Minnemann, who's intricate and extraordinary performance really adds to this CD, proving why he is one of today's elite drummers.
