This was Harvey Mason's first album as a leader, recorded between April and June 1975. The opening features a distinctive marching drum cadence, with Harvey Mason and co-producer/drummer Bob Wirtz playing together before the full band enters. The backing vocal lineup is exceptional, especially the early appearance of Randy Crawford, who was still primarily a session singer at the time.
