The Original Album Series for The Pogues (released in 2010) is a box set containing their first five studio albums in their entirety. Because it spans the band’s most productive years (1984–1990), the personnel evolves across the discs as the lineup grew from a six-piece to an eight-piece ensemble.

The collection includes the following albums and their respective lineups:   1. Red Roses for Me (1984) The debut album features the founding six-piece lineup:

• Shane MacGowan: Vocals, guitar.


• Spider Stacy: Tin whistle, vocals.


• Jem Finer: Banjo.


• James Fearnley: Accordion.


• Andrew Ranken: Drums.


• Cait O'Riordan: Bass.

2. Rum, Sodomy & the Lash (1985) Produced by Elvis Costello, this album features the same core lineup as the debut, with the addition of Philip Chevron on guitar for several tracks.

3. If I Should Fall from Grace with God (1988) This album saw an expanded eight-piece lineup. A full list of the band members for this album can be found on Wikipedia. Kirsty MacColl provided guest vocals on "Fairytale of New York".

4. Peace and Love (1989)

5. Hell's Ditch (1990) These albums featured the same eight-piece lineup as If I Should Fall from Grace with God. Joe Strummer produced Hell's Ditch. The box set is considered an affordable way to collect the band's key studio albums.
