In 1992, the Tweek Drum Tuning Key-clip won the GOOD DESIGN Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design. Slug Percussion Products officially started in March of 1995, with the introduction of a second product, the Power Head Bass Drum Beater.
