Yuri Ruley is drummer in the Washington-based punk rock band MxPx. MxPx lay down an unbelievably thick wall of three-chord sing-along sonic joy, with Yuri Ruley at the helm with his dead-on precision drumming, and have been doing so for many years now. Despite their longetivity in the punk rock scene, MxPx sound as fresh today as they did when they began.
Their latest release, “Panic,” has kept their devoted following happy and has made new fans along the way. The summer of 2005 found Yuri Ruley and the band on the Vans Warped Tour, spreading their message of Rock all across the USA.
After Vans Yuri and MxPx are still hitting it hard, with dates in the US up until the holidays and then a European tour in 2006.
