Yannick is a professional drummer living in Heerlen, The Netherlands. His father (Berni Bovens) is a touring freelance drummer who taught him the very beginnings of drumming, at the age of 3. Many years later, Yannick joined multiple artists in the studio and on the road playing festivals like Pinkpop, Lowlands, Zwarte Cross and more. He has shared the stage with artists like Aïcha Cherif, Jick Munro & The Amazing Laserbeams, Sparrow Falls, The Young Ones, Nür Deutsche Welle, Noëlle de Bie, Bawrence of Aralia, Stan Smeets and many more.

Yannick is currently on the road with The Hillbilly Moonshiners Bluegrass Band.
