Xavier Ware is a drummer from Beaufort, North Carolina whose musical roots run deep. Introduced to the drums at an early age, he developed his foundation in church settings, where groove, feel, and musical sensitivity were just as important as technique. That early immersion shaped a player with a strong sense of dynamics, pocket, and purpose.

Alongside his church experience, Ware’s formal education sharpened his musicianship. Through school programs he became fluent in music reading, refined his control of dynamics, and strengthened his technical approach behind the kit. During high school he began performing extensively with a wide range of musicians, diving into jazz drumming and expanding his stylistic vocabulary. His dedication and growth earned him a place in the North Carolina All-State Jazz Band three times in four years.

College further broadened Ware’s musical perspective, deepening his understanding of theory and elevating his jazz playing. Since then, his touch, sound, and overall musical voice have continued to evolve. After graduating, he remained active throughout North Carolina’s Triangle area, performing with fellow musicians as well as seasoned professors, gaining valuable experience across genres and settings.

Ware has since stepped onto a larger stage as a member of Bilmuri, a role that has taken him around the world and introduced his playing to new audiences. Grounded, expressive, and deeply musical, Xavier Ware approaches every performance with gratitude and intention—driven by the belief that rhythm can connect hearts, souls, and minds, no matter the setting.

There is no clear documentation that Ware recorded drums on any official Bilmuri studio album or single release. Most releases by Bilmuri around 2024–2025 list other drummers (e.g., Josh Manuel) in studio credits.

In addition to his work with Bilmuri, Xavier Ware has recently stepped into a new chapter of his career as the drummer for the legendary crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. Joining a group known for its explosive energy, precision, and demanding live performances, Ware brings both power and musical control to a band with a deep and influential legacy. His ability to balance raw aggression with feel, dynamics, and groove makes him a natural fit for the band’s high-intensity sound.

Drawing from his diverse background—ranging from church and jazz to modern rock and metal—Ware delivers a drumming style that is both versatile and authoritative. Whether locking into blistering tempos, navigating complex arrangements, or driving a massive crowd, his playing reflects a deep respect for the music and the moment. Ware made his live debut with the band during the ShipRocked Cruise in late January 2026, replacing former drummer Jay Weinberg.
