Wolfram Kellner was born in Erlangen, and began playing the piano at the age of eight. As a teenager he attended the musical school in Erlangen and discovered the drums at age thirteen.
He moved to Nuremberg in 1989 and joined a band called Erlanger X-Rated. The first album was recorded, soon followed by other studio sessions.
Around the same time Wolfram Kellner joined cover band Carswell with whom he played more than 100 shows per year.
Wolfram Kellner joined folkrock legends Fiddlers Green in 1995. He stayed with them for six years and about 600 headlining gigs with live broadcasts by on VIVA, WDR, BR, HR, SDR, 3sat, MDR, RTL, HR, ARD / ZDF, Radio Bremen, and Fire Kiel Canal.
