Weerachat "Note" Premananda, Jr. was a 29-year-old music teacher from Bangkok who became a YouTube hit in 2013 by convincingly air drumming on a chalked drum set on a wall of his house.
Note Premananda began playing drums at the age of sixteen, starting from the church El Imm Romanus. He received drum lessons from Lester Estaban, and Chnuth Techathananan and eventually graduated from Silpakorn University after studying jazz drums.
In 2005 he was invited to play at a the UNC jazz festival (at the University of North Colorado), with the SU jazz quintet where he was awarded as outstanding musician.
In 2006 he entered a Thai jazz competition for the first time, where he placed second with prizes and awards as outstanding musician.
He won the 2007 tournament.
In 2010 Note became one of the winners in a tv contest and became part of a winning jazz dream team.
Note Premananda is currently drummer of Skykick Ranger, and Grateful plus working as drum tutor.
